4 years ago, I decided to look into starting an online business. I had a full time job already, but I was convinced there was a way to generate a passive income online. I didn't the know the first thing about websites, web design or internet marketing.

I started as most people do; with a google search. The hosting company I sign up with offered a "free website builder." I quickly became obsessed with this. Within a week I had reached the limits of this software. I taught myself html, javascript, php, mysql and graphic design.

My first site, Plan2Profit.net, was finished and I wasn't quite sure what would happen next. I would check the traffic every day; 0, 0, 0, 0. Why weren't people coming to my site. My initial obsession with web design turned into a love of Internet Marketing.

After buying books, attending seminars, purchasing software, but mostly after trying every theory I came up with or heard about and $13,000, finally the site was booming. Friends, family, and fellow entrepreneurs began asking me how I was able to drive so much traffic to my site. I realized then that most site owners don't know even the most basic tactics.

I focused on my next project, my new full time job, WebsiteDesignerDirect.com. This site worked out well for me, until the end of 2008. Business has grown and so must it's outlet.

With a new staff, new services, new business model, we needed a new site.
